2012 in my social circle seems to be the year of weddings. It's that gentle reminder that we're actually starting to get old and things like marriage, kids, mortgages and pension plans are on the horizon! How scary!
Anyway, the thing I love most about a wedding is getting all dressed up. Although I do get quite dolled up for a night out with the girls or dinner with the manfriend, weddings are a more elegant and demure occasion, where you really need to get it right.
As usual, I start with the feet and work my way up when deciding what to wear and at the moment I am completely besotted with anything and everything snakeprint so here are a few of my favs from.............

Snake print, can be tricky to pull off and can often look rather trashy, but if worn correctly (as in not head to toe) it screams edgy, yet tasteful.
I'm definitely looking forward to payday! Lol!

I love the middle pair! You know how we feel about prints though so the other two are just as gorgeous and you're right - head to toe is a no go... just a splash of snakeskin or leopard print (which a lot of people seem to be going for) can really amp up an outfit! Great post Lydia :)
